The First One Hundred Days: Advancing Our Region’s Federal Agenda
With last week’s inauguration of President Donald Trump, the first one hundred days of the new administration are now underway. This period of time is crucial for the President and newly sworn in Congress as they work to enact policies and advance an agenda to move our nation forward.
For the Pittsburgh region, there’s much at stake. During the campaign, President Trump committed to work on issues that will have a significant impact on our competitiveness. These include potential large scale infrastructure investment, a wide-ranging manufacturing and trade policy, tax and regulatory reform, and broader energy development. It’s now time to find opportunities for the public and private sector to work together on these issues in a way that will benefit our region.
